Cheryl Childers and Lisa Wolcott have hosted retreats and events for over a decade. Grounded in the methodology and research of Dr. Brené Brown, their retreats focus on self-care, creative processes, and letting go of the cult of hustle and perfectionism in order to live a more authentic life.
Guests enjoy comfortable and beautiful accommodations, nourishing food and snacks, and a beachside location — where you unplug and feel both rested and inspired!
Our experiential retreats explore Brené’s Guideposts for Wholehearted Living, such as authenticity, self-compassion, cultivating a sense of joy, and releasing perfectionism. Some of our retreats may also focus on business building for mental health professionals, deep self-care, and creating work and life balance after trauma. We help you address burnout, imposter syndrome, comparison and stress as a lifestyle, and overwhelm by using grounding, meditation, art therapy and evidence-based relaxation techniques. You will leave with new skills and an embodied sense of your potential!
Brave Space Retreats includes CE learning opportunities to strengthen your professional/clinical practice. All professionals are welcome to our retreats!

About Us
Cheryl Childers and Lisa Wolcott, both licensed mental health professionals and retreat leaders, met at The Daring Way™ Facilitator Training at Onsite in Tennessee in 2017. They have been co-leading retreats based on Dr. Brené Brown’s experiential methodology for several years.
